The Students page

Students is where you find, add and organise the students you work with. Each row shows the student's readiness and when they were last logged for.

The three tabs

The three tabs
TabWhat it shows
My studentsThe students you teach. For a coordinator this tab is called Students and shows every student at the school except those kept outside; turn on Your students beside search to see only your own.
ClassesYour classes. See create and manage classes.
School directoryEvery student already in Superadjust for your school, whoever added them. Browse A to Z or by year level, and add a student to My students.

What the pills mean

In the School directory you can also filter by Where from (from your MIS or added by hand) and by whether a student is on My students. If a student isn't there, choose Not here? Create a student.

What the pills mean
PillWhat it means
Waiting on [coordinator]You nominated the student, and the coordinator hasn't decided yet. You can log for them.
[Coordinator] asked for moreThe coordinator chose Not yet and wants more from you before deciding. Reply when you can; what you log still counts.
On the NCCD listThe coordinator included the student. Shown for a week after the decision.
Kept outsideThe coordinator kept the student out of the NCCD count. Nothing is deleted, and they stay on your My students.

A student nobody has nominated has Nominate student in their row's menu. See how nominations work.

Two records for one student

When you add a student who is already in Superadjust, Add student shows the existing record. Choose Use [name]'s record, or It's someone else. Before you create a new student, Superadjust asks Is [name] already here? if it finds a lookalike; Create anyway still makes the record.

  • Teachers: if two records already exist, choose Same child? Tell [coordinator] in Add student, or Tell [coordinator] on the profile. Only a coordinator can merge records.
  • Coordinators: Students shows Two records look like the same student above the list. Choose Review them to open Possible duplicates. Pairs also appear on School under Waiting on you, and a pair whose two records are both included is marked Counted twice.

Merge two records

  1. As the coordinator, open Possible duplicates, or choose Merge with another record from either student's More actions.
  2. Records: choose the two records.
  3. Same student?: compare them, then choose Yes, the same student.
  4. What to keep: choose which details to keep where the two differ.
  5. What will happen: read every outcome, such as how the banked weeks change, then choose Merge into [name].

For 30 days after a merge, Split back turns it into two records again, as they were before. Exports already prepared stay as they were; the next one counts the student once.
