Set up your school in Settings

Settings, School holds the details, the calendar and the school-wide switches Superadjust uses. Coordinators change them; teachers see who their coordinator is.

Coordinator

Set the calendar

  1. Open Settings, then School, and choose Terms

  2. Choose your state or territory, so its public holidays apply

Until you do, only national public holidays apply.

  3. Enter your school's term dates and choose Save terms

Weekdays between terms are holidays and don't count as school weeks.

  4. Choose Non-school days and add the days your school is closed, such as staff development days

Add a range for a break, or one day.

  5. Choose Save & confirm calendar

    Superadjust shows School calendar confirmed.

Details

  • School name and address come from the school directory.
  • Contact email and phone.
  • Sector, and the approved authority or system. The funding estimate uses the sector. See funding projections.

Collection and calendar

The collection row shows the dates this collection runs, and Census Day shows the day and how many days are left. Census Day is set nationally, and weeks banked are counted inside the collection that ends on it.

Why confirming matters

Changes apply straight away for everyone at the school. Weekends are already non-school days.

Until the calendar is confirmed, a banner says Confirm the school calendar. Weeks are counted on your state's government term dates where Superadjust has them; otherwise weeks banked and readiness are worked out once your dates are confirmed. Confirm it so weeks banked and Extensive continuity follow your school's own dates. See how readiness is calculated.

AI help for everyone

Enhance and Adjust Resource can be on or off for the whole school. On: anyone can still turn AI help off for themselves in Preferences. Off: it's off for everyone, including you, and nobody can turn it on for themselves. See AI help and your students' data.
