Answer a request from your coordinator

When your coordinator needs something for a student, they send you a request. It names one student and one thing, such as a consultation note or the level of adjustment.

Teacher

Answer by logging

  1. Open the request

It shows your coordinator's words, and the student with their level and where that pillar stands.

  2. Write the entry in the composer on the request

It's already set to the student.

  3. Log it

The entry is filed on the student's record and answers the request in one step.

Where requests appear

  • On Log, under Requests to answer, newest first: up to three, or two on a phone. With more, choose All [n] requests.
  • In the bell, under Needs you.
  • By email, unless your school has turned request emails off. See notifications.

Other ways to answer

The request becomes Answered, and your coordinator marks it done. A request about the level asks you to choose one. A request about sessions has Confirm them on Log.

Other ways to answer
AnswerWhat it does
It's already loggedWhen there's an entry that fits, choose It's already logged and pick it. Log something new takes you back to the composer.
Reply without loggingWrite a reply, or pick one: Not yet. I'll log it this week. Can we talk about this? It's already on the record. Then choose Send to [coordinator], or Log it instead.

After you send, a message offers Undo for a moment. If your reply didn't send, your words stay so you can try again.

Reminders about sessions

If you have sessions to confirm, your coordinator can remind you. The reminder isn't a request: it's one line on Log under the sessions to confirm, until you answer them. See recurring supports.

What your coordinator sees

Requests are between you and your coordinator. To see your own row as your coordinator sees it, open What your coordinator sees in the account menu.

If it did not work

This request isn't here any more
It may have been withdrawn before you opened it, so there's nothing to answer.
The student has moved to another teacher
The request offers to log what you did while you taught them, or to tell your coordinator who has them now.
