How a school is organised in Superadjust
On this page
| Role | What they do |
|---|---|
| Coordinator | One per school, usually the learning support lead. Decides who is included in the NCCD count, sets levels and categories, asks teachers for evidence, and looks after the school's settings, staff and integrations. |
| Teacher | Logs evidence for the students they teach, adds and nominates students, and suggests level changes. |
| Relief teacher | A teacher with no class of their own, shown as Relief on the Teachers page. |
A person belongs to one school at a time. Someone who uses Superadjust at another school needs to leave it before they can join yours.
- On your own: a teacher who signs up without a school works in their own account, with their own students, and sets their levels and categories.
- At a school: what you log sits in the school's record. A student you add becomes a nomination for the coordinator to decide on.
- Joining later: you choose whether to bring your own students across. See accept an invitation.
The coordinator chooses how students are added, in Settings, Integrations:
- Added by hand: anyone at the school, only the coordinator, or nobody once Wonde is on.
- From Wonde: students come from the school's MIS, and you choose which of them teachers can see. See how students come across from Wonde.
At least one way stays on, so students always have a way in.
- Teachers can see the school's students in the School directory, and work with their own on My students.
- On a student's record, Other teachers see can be set to Initials only, so teachers who don't teach that student see initials instead of the full name.
- The coordinator sees every student, teacher and entry. A coordinator who also teaches can turn on Your students to see only their own.
- No other school can see your school's records. See [who can see what](/how-to/account-roles).
