What this guide covers
- when to use Enhance Evidence
- how to submit a note for enhancement
- what happens after the enhanced text is returned
- what to check before you save the evidence entry
This guide shows you how to use Enhance Evidence in Superadjust to rewrite a short teacher note into stronger NCCD-ready language. The feature helps you improve clarity and detail while keeping the original facts, and the text is only stored if you later save the evidence entry.
Step 1: Enter a short evidence note
Start in the teacher log panel and write the evidence note you want to strengthen. Enhance Evidence works on the note text only, so you do not need to send attachments, pillars, or other evidence fields to use it.
- 1.Open the evidence log panel.
- 2.Type your evidence note into the description field.
- 3.Make sure the note has at least 3 non-whitespace words. Very short notes are not eligible for enhancement.

Step 2: Click Enhance Evidence
When your note is ready, use the Enhance button in the log panel. Superadjust sends only the note text to the backend, where the AI rewrites it into stronger NCCD-ready language.
- 1.Click the Enhance button.
- 2.Superadjust sends your note as a JSON request with one field: text.
- 3.The AI service returns one result field: enhanced.
Step 3: Review the rewritten note
When the request succeeds, the enhanced text replaces the current description in the panel. This helps you keep working in one place instead of copying text between screens.
- 1.Read the enhanced version carefully.
- 2.Check that the meaning is still accurate and that no facts have changed.
- 3.Keep editing if needed before saving the evidence entry.

Step 4: Save the evidence entry
Enhance Evidence does not save anything by itself. The feature is stateless: it does not write to the database, upload files, or trigger webhooks. The text is only persisted if you later save the evidence through the normal evidence save flow.
- 1.Finish any other evidence fields you need.
- 2.Save the evidence entry when you are happy with the final wording.
- 3.If you do not save, the enhanced text is not stored.
Why this matters
Enhance Evidence helps teachers turn a rough classroom note into clearer, stronger evidence without changing the underlying facts. That improves the quality of what gets saved later and reduces the time needed to rewrite evidence manually. It also keeps the workflow fast because the teacher stays inside the same log panel from start to finish.
Common mistake
Assuming the enhancement has already been saved. It has not. The rewritten note only becomes part of the student record when you save the evidence entry. Until then, it is just preview text in the log panel.
What to do next
Once the text looks right, save the evidence entry and continue building coverage across the relevant pillars. If you are still learning the logging workflow, read Log your first evidence next.
FAQs
Does Enhance Evidence save my note automatically? No. It only returns stronger text. The note is saved only when you complete the normal evidence save flow.
What information is sent for enhancement? Only the note text. Attachments, pillar data, and other evidence fields are not sent to the enhancement endpoint.
Can any role use Enhance Evidence? Yes. The backend does not branch by role for enhancement requests. Teachers, coordinators, and admins can all use the feature.
